Hewlett-Packard Journada 540
Recognising the need for a more stylish and smaller Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), Hewlett-Packard worked with Alloy to create the HP Journada 540.
Just 4 weeks after receiving the technical package, the Alloy team were ready with four initial design concepts. These concepts were presented as photorealistic renderings, completed entirely in UG/Render, which benefits from fast, accurate and high quality LightWorks rendering technology.
The close integration of the LightWorks software makes the production of high quality images from the model a seamless task. This enables the designer to assign colour and finish directly to the model data and then render high quality images suitable for presenting to the client.
Business Week described the pocket pc HP Journada as
"...the sleekest and most stylish of the new pocket pc devices"
- a testament to the high quality design produced by Alloy.
